Raven Symone have been doing a great job on TV. After performing on the small screen for a long time, she has moved to act in movies along with the singing projects. The 26 year old Raven has been working in the industry since childhood. She acted along with Bill Cosby when she was 3, in “The Cosby Show”. She went to the public school but she was unable to join the college because of her commitments in the acting industry.
She’s currently working on her movie “Sister Act” and is going to be one of the leading roles in the stage adaptation of “Sister Act”. Talking about how she got involved with the movie, she revealed that producers approached her manager and after that her manager informed her of their intentions, she immediately confirmed to be in the movie, because of the presence of Whoopi Goldberg on the sets. She now seems quite happy with her decision.
Media has been largely focusing on her own weight loss. She has already denied she did it for the movie and has already informed her fans that she felt irritated because of her huge weight and has done for her not to gain some public attention. She also criticized the way advertisements are shown. Fast food commercials that are followed by the weight loss advertisements all represent the society focuses on beauty. They represent the loss of weight as a real fascination. She also went to criticize the reality shows and the gossips about celebrities dating. She said “I don’t really care who you are dating”.
Stress and weight gain are related with each other for the super star. High stress levels cause her to gain weight. While according to her, she loses weight whenever she is relaxed. After the tour “That’s so Raven”, she gained weight because of the high stress levels and tiredness. She then took a break and lost the weight. She has been working real hard nowadays and is planning to take a break in order to get relaxed and lose the weight. She watches the TV serials with great interest, especially on Monday nights when she feels free of work.
Her favorite serial is “The Bad Girls Club” and the other one “Mob Wives”. She enjoys watching the serials and is very much fond of watching these shows on the television. Many fans around the world are really impressed and are attracted by the unique eyebrows of the super star. She is very much down to earth and never boasts about herself. Responding to the fans attraction towards her unique eyebrows, she said that they grow upside down. She tried to waxed them and tried her level best to look normal but all in vain. They are now growing as they used to before.
